Over 10 years later, now that study is shown that not accepted widely. Most of recent papers about placodonts refers criticization of his study. Ta-tea-two-te-to (talk) 06:49, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

C.G. Diedrich[edit]

This article relies too much on Diedrich's work. As noted in the article, Diedrich's claims are rather idiosyncratic in the study of placodonts and are not accepted by most researchers.
