Page creation[edit]

I thought the it would be helpful to have a page devoted to discussion of Eva Peron's depictions in popular culture. Please feel free to aid in this page. -- Andrew Parodi (talk) 14:07, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Little Mother"[edit]

The film "Little mother" does not belong here. As pointed many times, it's a fictional story, with characters using fictional names. As a result, it's not historical fiction, it's just fiction. To appear here, Eva Perón must be mentioned by that name (or by the name "Evita"). It's not a weird or unreasonable requirement: all other entries follow the rule. If the character just "resembles" Evita, without being named as such, then it's not a work about Evita, same as Adam Sutler from V for Vendetta is not supposed to be George Bush.

Besides, historical fiction may add details here and there to help the creation of a narrative plot, but if the plot departs so significantly from historical accuracy into the realm of libel, to the point that the use of fictional names is required to avoid being sued (as IMDB suggests), then it has already given up any expectations of being historical fiction. If they refuse to be a work about Eva Perón because they (justifiably) fear being sued, then it's not a work about Eva Perón. Cambalachero (talk) 14:26, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Videogames Section[edit]

Eva Peron is a playable character in some of the Tropico games, would this be enough to justify adding a section for references in videogames? And if not, where else on the page could I mention this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.121.6.113 (talk) 03:56, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
