Oppose. "Older", "more important" and "all other meanings derived from" are not criteria to be considered when determining primary topic. What we need is evidence that this topic is much more likely that any other to be the one being sought by someone entering "Cullen" in the search box. Support. Our goal here should be to improve Wikipedia. What it seems like to me is that we are confusing to separate topics here.
- a) Is there enough content to support a Names article for the surname Cullen at Cullen (surname)? Definitely, 42 names and cited content on the history of the name. The standards are rather clear at APO: Wikipedia:WikiProject_Anthroponymy/Standards and does not require a consensus
- b) If the remainder of your request is to move this DAB to Cullen then I agree because the Google Test shows no real Primary Topic. The point of a DAB is to list dissimilar that share a similar name. --Hutcher (talk) 02:38, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Support. No evidence that there is a primary topic for "Cullen". That Cullen already redirects to the dab page indicates there is no primary topic, so the dab page should be at Cullen. --Born2cycle (talk) 04:36, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
