Location[edit]

A distance of 1 mile 10 chains from Fiddlers Ferry gives a location more-or-less adjacent to Taylor's Crossing (of the St Helen's Canal). The NLS 25-inch OS map (ca. 1900) appears to show a bit of a structure by the line there (map). The RailScot entry also appears to go for this spot.
