Nice to see a game engine get some GA love. Comments to follow. Indrian (talk) 02:21, 14 April 2016 (UTC) Sorry to take so long to review this; I have been on vacation. The article is well-writte, engaging, and informative. I made some copy edits, and we are nearly there. Two things:[reply]

  • The GA criteria expresses a desire for images when possible. Could we get some screenshots or pictures of developers or something to round out the article?
  • The article kind of just ends without any kind of summing up. Could we perhaps have a paragraph discussing the final fate of the engine (basically that it was superseded by Luminous, etc. in the new console generation)?

I'll go ahead and put this  On hold while these small points are addressed. Indrian (talk) 16:13, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I got some more references of people commenting on the engine and saying that it lead to delays for FFXIII and has probably been dropped, which is as much as we can do for now, Square Enix has said nothing official for years and never formally said Crystal Tools is dead. I also added a picture from 2009 of the engine so people can see what the engine looked like during production. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 21:22, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
