Critical Velocity should not redirect here.[edit]

There are many definitions for the term "critical velocity" and as such it is incorrect to assume that it only means "critical ionization velocity". It can also mean the speed of sound at the throat of a rocket or the velocity at which a liquid transitions from laminar flow to turbulent flow. Therefore I recommend that the redirect be removed and only when other articles exist, to which the term "critical velocity" applies, should a disambiguation page be created to assist in directing users to the desired definition of "critical velocity".
