Kulukulu[edit]

This bird is known as a very unique bird and also used in Niues Logo for the flag. The Purple Capped fruit dove is very common here in the islands. We eat it because we have no food and it holds a great smell and taste. It lives in the forest mostly where it is dry and hot.
