Course project[edit]

Hello, I am a student from Drake University and I am going to be editing this article. I will be adding different contents to it with more useful information such as different structures of gangs in El Salvador, causes to them, the impact it has on El Salvador, preventions, and how the youth society impacts these gangs. Ekarajic (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 04:36, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ekarajic's edits incorporated[edit]

Hello - I am working with Ekarajic's text. User:Ekarajic did research on why youth in El Salvador join gangs, domestic violence as part of crime in El Salvador, and other facts. There were also photos added. I made the decision while migrating the article from the sandbox to put all of the gang information into one subsection. Thanks. Delete[edit]

Hello can you delete this page??? this page is not helping El salvador's people that lives on tourism. every time you google for places to stay in el salvador this page pops out and is not good it discourage every one who wants to go on a vacation to El salvador while other countries that are doing much worst on crime don't have a article on crime about them. Thank you Catyy45 (talk) 15:14, 20 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Catyy45: If an article is inaccurate, we do not delete it. We improve it with accurate content, with references to WP:reliable sources. Also, Wikipedia's mission is to spread knowledge, not to "help El salvador's people". If some people are offended, we don't care. WP:Wikipedia is not censored. Checking the pages of other countries with similar issues and they don't appear to have the same of amount of attention paid to it.

Meaningless tables?[edit]

What gives with the "Homicide by municipality" tables? They have no column headers, rendering them incoherent. The tables should either be labelled coherently or deleted. — Epipelagic (talk) 13:58, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wondered the same! Filipaxrt (talk) 20:38, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This should be changed to reflect the crime changes to help misinformation[edit]
