Untitled[edit]

If the series debuted in 1979, how can one of the episodes have been first broadcast in 1965? Is this vandalism? 81.152.72.174 (talk) 08:28, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If memory serves[edit]

The opening episode won some sort of award. I remember seeing it when I was a kid and recall that this was mentioned by an announcer in the intro.

Radio adaptations of novels[edit]

The article treats the radio adaptations as if they were some adjunct of the TV series, rather than that they are both adapted from the same source - what’s the point of listing the radio episode by the number of the corresponding TV show in the first column of the table? It just looks confusiing (especally as three of the six titles were on radio before the TV series debuted). Either the article should be about the character or book series, with sections on adaptations, or it sould be about adaptations, and give the two series equal status, possibly listing the radio series first as it began before the TV series.
