Defintion

- There seems to be some confusion over the terms used. In the usual British dictonaries (i.e. Collins, Oxford) a crematory is another name for a crematorium. A crematorium is a building which contains one or more furnaces (sometimes called cremators or retorts, when built for the purpose of cremation). After incineration the remains are usually milled in a purpose built machine called a cremulator (or crembola). What is left is referred to as ashes or cremains. JHvW (talk) 14:20, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Rewrite
This article is too enthusiastic about the process. It should be modified to a more neutral tone. It also looks commercial, especially starting with a technology section which starts by citing one specific person and company as the main thing. Setreset (talk) 08:35, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
- I would agree, there should be an article about crematoriums and their history. The proces of cremation is adequately explained in a separate article. --JHvW (talk) 09:42, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
