Pipelines[edit]

The article is not clear enough on v pipes. The YMP had two separate read and one write pipes per CPU. It is loosely implied here that the C90 had one read and one write pipe per CPU, but each was a dual track. This was the arrangement used by the Japanese machines of the time. CRI claimed that the average memory activity was two reads per write, hence the YMP arrangement.220.244.73.10 (talk) 00:04, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
