"Courtenay lies just 4 km west of the Town of Comox..." Is "lies" the right word??? I guess it sounds a bit like translation of the german phrase "Courtenay liegt...". Edroeh 15:58, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

What about Mount Cain?[edit]

Mt Washington is not the sole alpine ski resort on Vancouver Island. Mount Cain is located 2 hrs north of Campbell River. See www.mountcain.com for details.

Airport[edit]

Folks are not often not aware of the airport (land and water) that Courtenay has. I have put a photo on WikiMedia Commons taken on final approach that could be used. Courtenay Airpark and the Water Aerodrome are effectively the same. "Smit Field" is actually a level pasture that belonged to Bert Smit, who died a while back when his home made plane crashed nearby and is likely no longer useable. Red58bill (talk) 05:18, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
