This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here)

I've been trying to work out who J. Sanders was. They are described as a trade unionist; unless it's an obscure shop steward, I think it must be a misspelling for George Sanders of the Licensed Vehicle Workers, a syndicalist, later active in the Red International. There was an obscure shop steward called J. Sanders in the Dockers Union in Carlisle, but I have not been able to find out more about him. There is probably stuff about him in the Dockers' Record.Leutha (talk) 07:27, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Possible rename[edit]

Could 'The Leeds Convention, 1917' be added to the title somewhere - or perhaps the article renamed accordingly? Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Histomatist (talkcontribs) 12:04, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"The Leeds Convention" is a sub-title, which can be linked to directly.. We need to add sections as regards the various regional meetings which were subsequently held, I would suggest.Leutha (talk) 22:42, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
