ISO 9001[edit]

Since the 2016 version of the international standard ISO 9001 the concept of preventive actions was removed and replaced by Risk Based Thinking because the two concepts overlap. A preventive action is a activity to avoid further occurrence of a problem. This is a risk and should be managed properly at least to mitigate it. Accepting the risk would be similar to not implementing any preventive action. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.187.245.132 (talk) 12:49, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Merged Corrective action into this page. Panchobook (talk) 19:18, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs quite a bit of editing. It seems the "Concepts" accumulated for a while without any pruning.--Panchobook (talk) 19:41, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
