Merge[edit]

This article doesn't say anything that isn't already mentioned in Corporate social responsibility (CSR). The CSR article needs cleaning up, but there's no sense in having two articles. This article is attracting linkspam. I suggest a redirect to CSR. --SueHay 15:17, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree and support the merge for the same reasons. *Vendetta* (whois talk edits) 05:39, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration of article on Corporate responsibility[edit]

The merger of the Corporate responsibility article with the article on Corporate Social Responsibility in September 2007 failed to take account of aspects of companies' responsibilities for good governance, accountability to shareholders, legal compliance, maintaining their own long term business sustainability etc which operate alongside companies' wider responsibilities for the social, economic and environmental impact of their business activities. For example, the CFO and CEO's responsibility for the accuracy and compliance of their reports to shareholders may be referred to as "corporate responsibility": see https://www.sarbanes-oxley-101.com/SOX-302.htm for example: SOX Section 302: Corporate Responsibility for Financial Reports and Sarbanes–Oxley Act#Major elements. I am therefore proposing to restore Corporate responsibility as a separate article. BobKilcoyne (talk) 04:07, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
