Varies by country. — LlywelynII 11:50, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"List"[edit]

It's nonsense to give unsourced historical dates for grossly incomplete lists of two countries, a single member of a third country, and links to lists for two more, and to ignore every other one of the previous all-countries-on-Earth. Revised into a list of present-day observances plus links to other historical lists.

Here is the previous historical data if this is ever widely expanded to handle every coronation observance in history:

Country Monarch Date
Ethiopia Haile Selassie I 2 November 1930
Thailand Mongkut 15 May 1851
Chulalongkorn 11 November 1868
6 November 1873
Vajiravudh 11 November 1910
Prajadhipok 25 February 1926
Bhumibol Adulyadej 5 May 1950
United Kingdom Anne 23 April 1702
George I 20 October 1714
George II 11 October 1727
George III 22 September 1761
George IV 19 July 1821
William IV 8 September 1831
Victoria 28 June 1838
Edward VII 9 August 1902
George V 22 June 1911
George VI 12 May 1937
Elizabeth II 2 June 1953

Of course, if they go back up they should be in a separate and well sourced list. — LlywelynII 11:50, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
