This isn't the same color as Michigan's "maize", is it? WizardDuck (talk) 18:26, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't know. I've never heard of the color 'corn' before. Thmazing (talk) 22:03, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shades[edit]

I looked at the shades of yellow on the yellow page and I found a few shades of green e.g olive, lime, green yellow and I found a few shades of brown and orange as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.21.225.95 (talk) 17:50, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was trying to research what the colors are for the 'University of Michigan' and ran across this web page which follows: http://www.1122productions.com/tradition/colors/

When you scroll down to University of Michigan it reads: Michigan: maize, azure blue (teams wear maize and dark blue)

From Michigan's web site: 1867 - Maize and azure blue adopted as class colors by a student committee and become official school colors in 1912 by action of the regents.
