False claim?[edit]
Someone please verify this, which I removed: "it is responsible for over 100 deaths daily." Highly unlikely I would say. 36,500 people a year dying from pufferfish? I don't think so. Here's a story about 15 cases in the last 3 years.[1] Don't you think they would mention the other 109,485 that would have had to have died for this to be true?
