Note the "greg was here" in the first paragraph. I could not delete in edit or find earlier page in history.

essay was out of place in dab page[edit]

Disambiguation pages are not the place for expository material. The section I removed did not even specify which sense of the word "constructivism" it was talking about. Please merge this material into the appropriate article, if there is one, or write one, if there isn't. Here's what I took out: --Trovatore 23:00, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The basic assumptions of constructivism are as follows:
- Ideas, beliefs, identities of individuals and groups are key to understanding the nature and course of international relations.
- People's identities, ideas, values are constructed by their groups affiliations.
- Social factors such as ideas, values, identities are emphasized more than material factors like military and/or economic power.
- Conflict or cooperation between states is largely the result of their values, views, ideas about each other and their place in the international system.
- Great emphasis is placed on explaining change in international relations.

Disambig-Cleanup[edit]

If this is a dismabiguation page please edit it to be more in conformance with Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages). If it is not a disambiguation page then please edit it into a real article (or stub) and remove the {{disambig}} tag. Thanks! Ewlyahoocom 18:54, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
