Clean-up[edit]

Disambiguation pages serve to guide Wikipedia readers when there is "more than one existing Wikipedia article to which [some] word or phrase might be expected to lead." They should not link to partial title matches, articles that merely contain part of the page title in their names.

On this page Conservatism, the political philosophy, is clearly the primary topic. Some of the strains of conservatism may therefore be appropriate, particularly if they are ever called simply "conservatism" or "conservative foo". However, if these variant strains are included just to give a fuller understanding of the political philosophy, that should be done either on the page Conservatism or as a stand-alone list and not on the disambiguation page.

I am asking editors, especially those in WikiProject Disambiguation or WikiProject Conservatism to help clean this page to make it a proper disambiguation page, without mixing characteristics of a stand-alone list and without partial title matches. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Cnilep (talk) 03:33, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
