Longest strike?

There have been claims, both in the media and this article, that the Congress Hotel strike was the longest in either the country or the world. However, both of these claims appear to be false; for example, Teamsters Local 601 at the Diamond of California walnut plant struck for 13 years, from 1991 to 2005.
