LDS specific[edit]

This page has a number of inaccuracies. The gift of the holy ghost is not a doctrine which has originated from the LDS church neither is it an exclusive latter day saint doctrine. Rather its origins (according to the holy bible) date back nearly 2000 years ago. (see Acts Chapter 2).

Additionally, this perspective on the holy spirit is not completely universal and is specific to the LDS's beliefs on the gift of the holy ghost. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.79.141.176 (talk • contribs) 15:57, 19 September 2007

This page is really an LDS-specific page, referring to the LDS Confirmation. The broader topic is already covered at Spiritual gifts, baptism of fire. So I'm going to rename the article and edit to reflect this. COGDEN 22:39, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
