Common cockle[edit]

I will probably move this article from “Cerastoderma edule” to “Common cockle” which should be an uncontroversial move per WP:COMMON NAME. However, I will not do it myself, but rather will make a move request, because I see it was previously moved the other way seven years ago. The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: page moved. Anythingyouwant (talk) 21:21, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 24 November 2017[edit]

Cerastoderma eduleCommon cockle – I am not aware that WP:COMMON NAME requires a little-used scientific name to be used as a Wikipedia article title instead of a much more common name. This article used to be at the common name, but was moved to the scientific name in 2010 by User:Casliber. Anythingyouwant (talk) 21:02, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
