Origin of Name[edit]

As long as there's an article, mention should be made of the great librettist GIUSEPPE GIACOSA for whom the village is named. Giacosa was born here when its name was Colleretto Parella. Its name was changed to honor him. The Wikipedia article on Giacosa details his immortal works.Abenr (talk) 18:02, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
