Did you know... that Cold Sunday was a specific meteorological event which took place on January 17, 1982, when unprecedentedly cold air swept down from Canada, sending temperatures in the United States far below existing all-time record lows?

Temp error/typo in article[edit]

"This mass of cold air was so strong that the temperature at Mequon, Wisconsin, dropped to −40 °F (−40 °C); "

Is it -40F, or -40C? Can't be both. Lol. Stay warm out there!

As of 2004? Need more updated information[edit]

It looks like the statement "as of 2004" should be updated to reflect if there are new records broken after 2004. If some of the records still stand as of 2023 or 2024, the article should state that. But if there some new broken records after 2004, it should be mentioned and it should state the date that the records were broken. 47.12.180.193 (talk) 06:21, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
