Overhaul[edit]

I created Coharie Intra-tribal Council, Inc., for the state-recognized tribe. Looking back at this article, most of the information is uncited or the citations are self-published deadlinks. Updating this article will be a challenge since Coharie wasn't a specific Native American tribe. For instance, Hodge 1911 and Swanton 1952 don't even mention the term Coharie. Books published before 1975 only mention the Little Coharie Creek and the Great Coharie Creek and the Coharie formation. Seems like it would be best to turn this page into a disambiguation page for the term Coharie but I'm not sure how to propose that. Yuchitown (talk) 16:23, 27 August 2022 (UTC)Yuchitown[reply]

To follow up Coharie is not the name of an ethnic group or a historic tribe. I put potentially useful content on Talk:Coharie Intra-tribal Council, Inc., if people can cite any of the material or glean useful information from the unlinked sources.
