Incoming links[edit]

This disambiguation page was moved here after the article here was moved to Cocoa bean; see Talk:Cocoa bean/Archive 1#Requested move for discussion. Incoming links are being repaired. --Una Smith (talk) 06:03, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the {{incoming links}} tag from the article. The article still has over 100 incoming links, but all of them are ones that should not be fixed by a simple substitution of article for dab page. Fixing these remaining links is not a job for most editors, and I will fix them myself shortly. --Una Smith (talk) 20:25, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hints[edit]

For cocoa meaning a beverage in the modern sense, see Hot chocolate. However, some people distinguish between beverages made with chocolate and those made with cocoa solids, reserving cocoa for the latter. Furthermore, before the 19th century invention of methods to produce cocoa solids, cocoa was made from chocolate liquor. See Chocolate and History of chocolate.

Search (use the Search button, not the Go button) also for instances of "cocao" and "cacoa", common spelling mistakes. --Una Smith (talk) 15:33, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agree with the above; as a corollary, there really should be separate itemization (differentiation) between "cocoa" and "hot chocolate" because they are NOT necessarily the same thing. There should be a SEPARATE page that looks at the concept of COCOA alone, instead of blending it into the article for 'chocolate' or the article for 'hot chocolate'. Cocoa should have a separate and distinct page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oysterclam (talkcontribs) 11:14, 13 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
