Hello all ... I created this article today. I should inform you that I'm a fairly new editor... so it would be nice if some of you could check to see how the article looks on your screen, and do any necessary editing etc.. ~~Also we need a disambiguation to distinguish the Biblical coat of many colors from this. Pardon me, my mistake. I guess in my desire to contribute something to the encyclopedia, I didn't realize there were appropriate links to the Dolly Parton album this song finds itself on on the page for the Biblical coat of many colors. Lyrics[edit]

I think that the lyrics to this song are still under copyright. Generally, copyrighted materials/publications cannot be copied verbatim on Wikipedia. Unless I can prove that these lyrics are in the public domain, I will delete them in a few days. Andrea Parton 04:34, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Missing final verse[edit]

This description in the section "Missing final verse" is no longer accurate: "a final verse that has never been included on any of Parton's recordings of the song"
