Fahrenheit or Celsius?[edit]

Because this article deals with a location within the United States, Fahrenheit and inches should be listed first, unless this is standard procedure on WikiProject North Dakota. Feel free to contact me about this issue at my talk page. I'm going to change it back later tomorrow, unless a discussion takes place to indicate otherwise. I agree with you, Ryan. --MatthewUND(talk) 06:47, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I would tend to disagree; both of the units are there, but we're writing an international encyclopedia here, and the most broadly used system of measurement should be presented first. --AlexWCovington (talk) 08:20, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you check almost any other U.S. city's article on here, Fahrenheit practically always appears before Celsius. I don't see why the Bismarck article would be treated any differently. --MatthewUND(talk) 08:28, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The manual of style states that in cases such as this, source units should be placed first, and in this case it's the US vestigial system. I have to express my disappointment. --AlexWCovington (talk) 08:36, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any article to insignificant to be included in this encyclopedia?[edit]

I simply cannot believe that anyone created a separate article for the climate of Bismarck. 68.218.170.137 20:28, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Climate Data[edit]

Data should come from official or academic sources. Weather.com and wunderground.com are not original data sources and their use should be discouraged. Use the National Climactic Data Center instead. --AlexWCovington (talk) 00:21, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
