Should it be the Maryland State Senate?

How did Clay beat the charge?[edit]

Nice write up for season five; however I think there should be some details on how exactly he beat the charge in court (Billy Murphy).. I'll give the original writer a chance to add —Preceding unsigned comment added by Omarcheeseboro (talkcontribs) 18:40, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reception subsection[edit]

Moving the citation up to the top renders this section obviously as bare as it always was. Here's the wording:

==Reception==
Slate magazine singled out Clay Davis as a reason they were looking forward to the return of the show for its fifth season. They highlighted the character as being unusual in that he shows no moral complexity and is simply corrupt. They also applauded Whitlock's delivery of the character's trademark "Sheeeeee-it".

Perhaps I will attempt this later, perhaps someone else would like to give it a try. WWB (talk) 07:44, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sheeeee-it[edit]

When I was watching 25th Hour recently, I noticed Isiah Whitlock, Jr. also pronouncing "shit" as "sheeeeee-it". So maybe it's not idiosyncratic of the character Clay Davis, but of the actor Isiah Whitlock, Jr.? - FakirNL (talk) 15:38, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
