Should probably reduce this page's long list of names[edit]

... Especially now that there are pages for the List of Clarion West Writers Workshop Instructors and List of Clarion West Writers Workshop Alumni. That way, most of the people involved with the workshop can be placed there, and this page can focus on the workshop itself with a few examples of prominent people. I'm probably going to cut down the lists of names to more closely match the Clarion East page in the next week or two. Does anyone have suggestions on who to include (I'm thinking ten people for instructors and ten for students, much like the other list)? Rnb (talk) 17:40, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've cut down the lists of students and instructors so that this page doesn't get clogged with long lists when there are dedicated articles to lists of both. I made sure that everyone that had an article of their own is now listed on the dedicated list articles. I picked ten names for each brief list on this page, mostly by picking names I thought were particularly notable, but if people think other names should be listed, I'd be fine with that. I think the lists on this page should be kept to about ten entries each, though. Rnb (talk) 00:24, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Too detailed?[edit]

Isn't this article very overblown for what it's about? This definitely smacks of a concerted effort to big-up the thing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.144.72.204 (talk) 00:51, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
