How would headings be made, so as to, e.g., separate practical current information from historical information? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.194.6.232 (talk) 19:29, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

US Civil Service info[edit]

Can anyone offer insite into the US Civil Service Exam or where I can find info on it?

Is there still a civil service exam for US civil service?[edit]

I don't think there is because I am a permenant US federal employee and I didn't take an exam. ike9898 13:11, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The reference to "unisex" civil service in 1854 in England is bizarre. I have removed the word.

Merger proposal[edit]

Merger proposal: Public contest into Civil service examination.

The current article Public contest describes the general concept of Civil service examination but in the specific context of Brazil. Currently, the French and English articles for Civil service examination are linked to each other, while the Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Catalan and Galician articles are linked to Public contest. They should all be linked to each other, as they refer to the same general concept.--gonzy (talk) 14:43, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
