The eternal Rockefeller?[edit]

After the war, Weatherhead raised the funds to rebuild the City Temple, largely from John D. Rockefeller

The linked John D. Rockefeller died in 1937, which makes his (direct) funding of post WW2 reconstruction unlikely. 217.137.30.200 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 17:02, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fair to assume the philanthropic John D. Rockefeller, Jr. was intended and have edited accordingly. Nedrutland (talk) 17:08, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Removed unsourced claim[edit]

I have removed a claim from the lede: "It is the only English Free Church still worshipping in its own building every Sunday in the City of London." This was unsourced since 2013, and it's not entirely clear to me that it's true (but it might be, depending how the criteria are understood). Posting here in case someone can clarify and find a source. --Amble (talk) 18:09, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
