Recipe[edit]

can someone post a recipe of how to make circus peanuts? gujamin 13:14, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

does anyone know who manufactures the Publix brand? (I like those the best!) gujamin 14:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other Forms[edit]

Brachs makes a version for easter called "chicks and rabbits" that are colored orange, yellow, or blue mixed together in one bag. Dont ask me what flavor they are, I would have to say sugar flavor. Yummy. 76.212.147.7 (talk) 13:18, 21 February 2008 (UTC) Sandy[reply]

They're actually different flavors. I know for sure yellow is banana flavored, the orange I think is orange, blue I have no idea. I'd assume berry or something, but it has that "Don't classify me since I taste good" thing going. TheJudge310 (talk) 19:03, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

When were they invented?[edit]

The article says "Circus Peanuts are a peanut-shaped marshmallow candy invented in the 1800s." Can anyone provide a citation for this? The earliest print ads for them seem to be from the 1920's. Ee60640 (talk) 23:07, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Pork skin"?[edit]

Isn't "pork" the meat? the skin would be "pig skin", wouldn't it? Rob Cranfill (talk) 23:35, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it would. Edited. CKyle22 (talk) 05:44, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

General Reception.[edit]

should the article include a mention of how universaly hated these things are? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.132.224.130 (talk) 15:37, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it shaped like a peanut?[edit]

It's just marshmallow, it could be shaped like anything. Why is it shaped like a peanut? If no reason is known, it should be stated that no reason is known. According to Eater.com here http://www.eater.com/2015/10/24/9595684/what-are-circus-peanuts-penny-candy no reason is known. Doubledragons (talk) 13:08, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
