"The character was immortalised..." ? Hadn't he been immortalised already, by the books? 85.226.122.241 13:20, 30 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Girl's name[edit]

When will the Internet reveal the name of the girl in the 2007 television series that will replace CR?? The television series' title reveals only 12 or so Google hits as of this moment. Georgia guy 19:14, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Darby[edit]

Can someone figure out once and for all what Darby's role is going to be, and change all the Pooh articles to reflect it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.214.193.151 (talkcontribs)

Fair use rationale for Image:Crobinpooh.JPG[edit]

Image:Crobinpooh.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

2013 flash game[edit]

Is that really the plot of the game? Somehow, I doubt it, and yet, attempts to revert it have been foiled and people have been undoing vandalism on it. --71.107.122.174 (talk) 22:52, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's pretty accurate, to be honest. It's Pampas Cat! 04:28, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Having played this game myself, I don't think this is true. As I recall, Christopher Robin said he would be with Pooh always, and that Pooh was smarter, stronger and braver than he thought. It's seemingly implied that Christopher Robin has given Pooh the power to fight back, and to sever the evil that is corrupting Christopher Robins mind. Tharadun (talk) 10:58, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I can confirm this, Christopher Robin is indeed a god in this flash game, and some bitterness and hatred is implied. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.144.174.220 (talk) 13:51, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Locked?[edit]

i think this page should be locked, because of this 2013 flash game vandalism. Sandbag for smash bros 4 (talk) 19:42, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No one's tried to add that material in a couple weeks. No need for protection, at least not at this time. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 20:43, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fansites (and to a lesser extent Twitter) should not be used as references. They should be removed or replaced with better references. (The film has long since been released and serves as the primary source of the cast, so a source may not strictly be necessary at all anymore, while it would have been absolutely necessary before the film was released.) Also there is a spelling mistake in the young actor's name (the Infobox spells it correctly, the article text does not).

Please replace X:
Orton O'Bren portrays the character as a child.<ref>{{cite tweet|user=TheDisInsider|author=The DisInsider|number=918520722837794817|date=October 12, 2017|title=Orton O'Brien will play a young Christopher Robin. In Disney's live action adaptation of Winnie The Pooh starring Ewan McGregor.|access-date=August 21, 2018}}</ref>
with Y:
Orton O'Brien portrays the character as a child.<ref>{{cite web |date=6 August 2018 |author=Richard Brody |title=“Christopher Robin,” Reviewed: Disney’s Pleasantly Abrasive New Spin on Winnie-the-Pooh |url=https://www.newyorker.com/culture/the-front-row/christopher-robin-reviewed-disneys-pleasantly-abrasive-new-spin-on-winnie-the-pooh |website=[[The New Yorker]] |publisher=Condé Nast }}</ref>

I'd have fixed it myself already only the article is locked, and the fact that there is a section directly above this about the article being locked suggests that this article was a frequent target of disruptive edits. -- 109.77.195.44 (talk) 01:24, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

 Done.  Ganbaruby! (talk) 09:16, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Only partially done.[1] Spelling mistake in actor name still needs to be fixed. Orton O'Brien. My replace X with Y specifically fixed that too and I wrote out clearly in prose to explain that fix was also needed exactly to reduce the possible risk of this oversight happening! People have heard of Conan O'Brien right? Surname is spelled the same. -- 109.76.139.213 (talk) 03:16, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
