Possible tampering[edit]

I would like to know if anyone else has noted the repeated revision attempts to this page. Having compared previous versions I suspect that whoever 58.178.157.244 may be connected to the school and is attempting to use this as place to market the business or portray it in a more positive light. I point out that the langauge used in these edits appears slightly biased in a manner similar to brochures distributed by the school. Eyclonus (talk) 12:22, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Back Creek[edit]

As this section reads like an advertisment I propose that it should be rewritten to conform to Wikipedia standards. Does anyone have any opinions on this?Eyclonus (talk) 13:01, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good call - go for it ;) For a good example of what we strive for in these school articles, see Presbyterian Ladies' College, Sydney, which has recently been assessed as a Good Article. To be honest, unless we can get third-party reliable sources for things, much of this article could be cut - if it's notable, it will have been written about elsewhere than the school's own website. If it's not, it probably shouldn't be on Wikipedia. EyeSerenetalk 12:26, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It will be hard to find third party sources. The school has very active spin doctors, so practically everything written about them is an advertisment. How about we just cut "Back creek" altogether? I'm going to do that on the 29th, unless anybody else can come up with a better idea. If the Back Creek section reappears after that I'll make the assumption that Administration or some of the fanatical members of the school's community are using Wikipedia for propaganda.Eyclonus (talk) 06:24, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't forget to assume good faith! Having said that, if addition of unsourced or biased material becomes a problem, the page can be protected and/or the perpetrators prevented from editing. I'll keep this watchlisted ;) EyeSerenetalk 15:01, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Music Section[edit]

I believe there is far too much irrelevant information in the music section compared to the entire length of the article. It really only needs to contain the basic information about the music group, not a long list of obscure awards that read as a form of self promotion. I will be heavily editing this section within the next week unless anyone can give a good reason why this information should remain in the article.
