Vegitarian?[edit]

Artical says Chris has been a vegitarian for 11 years, however is wildboyz season 4 Russia 2 he eats meat in jelly when playing russian roulett with loomis fall, johnny knoxville and steve-o.

He also ate uncooked meat in the second Alaska episode in Season One. In that scene he makes the claim of not having eaten meat in eleven years. Th900bbepr 08:04, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the sentence about being vegetarian. The reference doesn't actually make that claim.

IGN: Do you consider yourself a predatory animal?

CP: No, I'm not. I'm pretty much a vegetarian. But I'll act like one when I'm messing with these animals....

It isn't clear if he means vegetarian as "not predatory" or if he actually means the diet. In either case qualifying it with "pretty much" makes it clear he isn't actually a vegetarian. If a better clearer reference can be found that would be great. Notfrompedro (talk) 21:16, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

{{editprotected}} The page used to back up the claim that he's a vegetarian never says he's been one "for sixteen years". Someone please remove the link and replace it with a {{fact}} tag. Anon., 12:08, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Done. I read the source (interview), and you are correct, it never mentions the "duration" of his vegetarianism. Good recommendation. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 18:39, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just a small error in wording. Down where it says he is married, the quote is "Chris Pontius has been to married" and should be changed to "Chris Pontius has been married to" just a small mix up of words is all.

Only requesting that the wording of "He grew up skating on his family's ranch" be changed to "He grew up skateboarding at his family's ranch" in order to swap out an unspecific colloquial term, which in this case was acting as a replacement for the actual verb. Anyone who has either played ice hockey or any rollerblade sports would be wondering what is the "skating" being referred to here. Thanks. meta4

Cameo Role[edit]

According to the DVD commentary, that's Chris Pontius portraying Black Randy of Black Randy and the Metrosquad in the Germs biopic, What We Do Is Secret. He is depicted wearing Black Randy's signature Devil suit, pulling a passed out woman's panties down, and licking ketamine during a party scene. The role should be credited on his page.

After where the marriage is discussed....it should read that his wife filed for divorce on March 23, 2011 and that the two have been separated since 2009....this is according to TMZ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobward600 (talkcontribs) 17:06, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Divorce[edit]

Chris and his wife Claire Nolan have been separated since 2009, she has since filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mobileweb/2011/03/22/jackass-star-chris-pontiu_n_839321.html Ember2inferno87 (talk) 18:04, 16 July 2012 (UTC)ember2inferno87[reply]

According to the petition Nolan filed March 16 in L.A. Superior Court, the duo tied the knot Oct. 28, 2004, and parted ways Oct. 29, 2009. She cites aversion to dumbassery irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. They have no children together. http://www.eonline.com/news/232370/which-jackass-star-s-wife-has-kicked-him-to-the-curb — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.66.249.145 (talk) 10:32, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

catastrophic style[edit]

"He grew up skateboarding at his family's ranch in San Luis Obispo, California." What is this phrase supposed to tell the reader? "To grow up skateboarding", uh-huh ... one grows up attending this and that school, but he was raised skateboarding, says a lot about his educational background. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.143.58.115 (talk) 08:06, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Terminology[edit]

I added "author" to the info box section, but maybe "journalist" would be more accurate. I'll leave it as is. Hamster Sandwich (talk) 19:14, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Who are his parents?[edit]

My dad just passed but had a long time great friend down south named Dave Pontius. Wondering if that is his Dad? 2601:646:9701:E7E0:A4F9:6E13:B7B6:D7B1 (talk) 19:43, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
