Fair use rationale for Image:Ccta2001.gif[edit]

Image:Ccta2001.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

These two articles will be merged upon merge of the two companies. RES2773 (talk) 23:57, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Once merged, the transit agency should have only one page. RES2773 (talk) 23:00, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. --SkipperRipper (talk) 03:35, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@SkipperRipper: Do you know when the two will be fully merged? RES2773 (talk) 20:51, 8 February 2016 (UTC)RES2773[reply]
Hi, @RES2773: The article states "this winter", but that is vague at best (like now, or in December?). The CCTA web site says "in the coming months". --SkipperRipper (talk) 21:27, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@SkipperRipper: Do you think I should continue with the merger? RES2773 (talk) 18:26, 12 February 2016 (UTC)RES2773[reply]
@RES2773 Once it happens. Keep an eye on the GMTA talk page too. --SkipperRipper (talk) 01:34, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Merger update.[edit]

Just a heads-up: the new company will be called Green Mountain Transit.[1] When the merger takes place, the CCTA and GMTA articles should be merged to a new page and the old articles left as they are when the merger takes place, obviously with the historical addition of the merger.

Got it, I will keep an eye on things. RES2773 (talk) 14:04, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Merger complete, in honor of the DTC opening Thursday, that's the day I'll (start to) merge everything into GMT. --SkipperRipper (talk) 02:09, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
