Concerned about the advise given for tank-mate compatability.[edit]

Myxocyprinus asiaticus is a cold water species (range is 18 to 25 C). It does not do well in a standared aquarium setup. Most rasbora and danios like water a bit too warm for them, as does the SAE. After I find some citations, I would like to edit this page, but I am a bit shy about doing so. There are other pages as well that have information that would lead people into not providing the proper environment for fishes they would like to keep. I have some thirty years experience keeping fish, including a few where I profesionaly taught and advised. I would like to contribute if I could, but I want to do it the right way, preferably after I have talked to someone first so for now I'll just leave a comment.
