official website[edit]

per official website template: "If on Wikidata more than one official website is given, the entry tagged with the language being English is automatically preferred." This points to english.cri.cn which points to http://chinaplus.cri.cn You can even see it from the China UN office website in Switzerland [1] The http://www.cri.com.cn one is spotty and doesn't connect reliably. Radio86[edit]

Radio86.com is now branded as GB Times. This should have a redlink to create a new article about the Finnish company. The old radio86.com link should not be in External links as is WP:EL AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:11, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Beijing News[edit]

It seem a hoax for CRI's website/division "Beijing News". May be there is "Beijing news" (lower cap) section of their website. But the about us of the CRI website never claimed that they runs an online newspaper /news website called "Beijing News" (upper cap) https://web.archive.org/web/20070715085422/http://english.cri.cn/about_us/who-we-are.htm https://web.archive.org/web/20170402161444/http://english.cri.cn/about_us/who-we-are.htm. Criticism?[edit]

No word about CRI's complete ignorance of standards, schedules, agreements on shortwave, about 15-30 kHz wide transmissions, keying up transmitters arbitrarily over other station's scheduled transmissions, occupying 4 adjacent channels, jamming and generally bullying the entire shortwave?2A01:598:9910:346F:A0AC:B119:3AEF:BD14 (talk) 14:07, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
