Don't know what to title this but...[edit]

In my opinion, this article needs a revamp. This article should not be a list of every cultural reference to chess ever. Rather it should be reserved only for works where chess is a theme, or used as a metaphor for something else (as in Bladerunner or A Matter of Life and Death). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.27.55.220 (talk) 13:34, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Images needed[edit]

This article has a good selection of reference imagery, however, the sections on chess in film and television would benefit from screenshots of the films and programmes cited. I tried to create some of these, but sadly, the images I uploaded were deleted (without much constructive discussion or review, alas).
