Naming[edit]

This article seems to have three different names in the lead/infobox/article title i.e.

Lighthouse, Chennai
Madras Light House
Chennai Lighthouse

The usual form for lighthouse articles would favour Chennai Lighthouse, but this seems to be a redirect...Jokulhlaup (talk) 14:30, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

@Rasnaboy I have been working on the infobox, trying to separate the information between the four separate lighthouses. Do we have any photos of the other lighthouses? Also, could you help me out with exact coordinates of each one? Thanks! — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:13, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the effort. Will try to get those images if possible. Will try to find out their coordinates, too. And the lighthouse in the image is not any of those four lighthouses of Chennai listed in the article. That's the Mahabalipuram Lighthouse near Chennai (about 60 km south from Chennai's Kilometer Zero). Rasnaboy (talk) 17:59, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@MSGJ: Just found a better image for the infobox but I'm unable to replace the present main image in the infobox (since it's in a module). Could you help me with this? The new image is "Marina-Beach-Light-House-Chennai.jpg". Cheers. Rasnaboy (talk) 02:02, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That image is not the best one we have for the lighthouse, quite dark and also blurry. There are plenty of others to choose from in commons:Category:Chennai Lighthouse. What's wrong with the current image?
