Portrait of Hindoo Stuart[edit]

Don't be fooled like I was- this picture on Wikimedia Commons is NOT Charles "Hindoo" Stuart, but of a completely different 18th-century Major-General Charles Stuart. This one was in the Navy fighting Napoleon, not in the East India Company. JRennocks (talk) 20:38, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding this warning for others who might be tempted to reinsert the picture. There's also a colour version of it on the other Charles Stuart's page. It's a pity there are no known images of "Hindoo" Stuart! Baldwin de Toeni (talk) 13:52, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
