Guyana Needs To Place More Focus On Cricket and not sit back and take alms from the BCCI[edit]

Hello Admin@Guyana Cricket Board.

How are you folks doing in Guyana? Hopefully well.

I am writing you this email because I am looking for updates on the four day competition in the West Indies and would like to see how our Guyanese guys are doing.

I am very frustrated because as the single authority for Cricket in Guyana, your website is woefully lacking, to be honest for a country with such rich history in Cricket you folks are miserable failures at managing what I consider to be our national sport.

If you cannot do the job, then you should get out of the way and let someone more capable handle the job at hand. Apparenty you are more than willing to have the Indian website Cricinfo provide updates buried as far down as they can whenever they see fit.

Is this your idea of managing Guyanese cricket? Is that why you took the job?

As the administers of Guyanese cricket, you should be making every effort to promote cricket in Guyana, not put your faces on the website and nothing else behind it. Many overseas Guyanese follow their team and the Young Guyanese talent religously.

What are you doing to encourage these people? despite having the tool ( the website) to provide updates for these people, you do nothing!

Your website is populated with outdated information in some cases from two years ago. What a shame.

In case you are unaware, currently Guyana is playing a four day competition in the West Indies, Maybe you could find it in your heart to at least post the scoreboard for the overseas based Guyanese.

A word of advice, in the future, please dont take a job that you are unwilling or unqualified to do because this is exactly what happens when you do.
