@Aldebaran69: - Hi, I see that you created this page back in 2006. I have seen on a Monaco history webpage (https://www.hellomonaco.com/sightseeing/grimaldi-family/charles-i-the-first-ruler-to-establish-monaco-as-an-independent-state/) that Charles died at the Battle of Crécy on 26 August 1346. I should have read right to the end of article. He was not killed at Crècy as I first thought but he was the Carlo Grimaldi recorded at Crècy. Regards Newm30 (talk) 01:17, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
