Untitled[edit]

I have turned this "stub" into a full and accurate biography. In the process, I had to delete or modify a few of the more banal remarks in the "stub." And I had to soften the bit about "homosexuality" because most literary writers do not find it an important issue, if indeed it existed in Dassoucy's circle. For example, in the paragraphs I quote in final section, homosexuality is not an element, and that's not because the author was a prude! (Actually, Dassoucy seems to have been more of a pedophile?) Joan Dejean investigates that in the reference I added to the note about homosexuality, so anyone who wishes to incorporate her very solid thoughts into the article should do so. (The other citation is the equivalent of Antonia Fraser: aims to shock and titillate.) I will come back to the Dassoucy article once my thoughts have settled and I can fine-tune my bio of him.
