Page lists Bowles as "Democratic" but all evidence I've seen points to Republican at points where a political party was involved. I know of no source that lists the subject as a Democrat. Is this actually sourced anywhere?
Further, the Find-a-Grave link on the same page reads thus: "In 1925 he ran, as a Republican candidate, for the office of Detroit's mayor when it was vacated after the resignation of Frank Ellsworth Doremus." 192.34.130.221 (talk) 16:02, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
