Needs Expansion[edit]

This article needs considerable expansion. Not only is there much more to say about the areas of Ferguson's work that are mentioned, but some go unmentioned. Ferguson had a major impact on Arabic linguistics, did important work on language in religion, and co-directed the Stanford Universals Project. There is considerable material to work with in the obituaries listed in the references and bibliography for someone who can take the time to expand the article.Bill (talk) 04:26, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
