Better pictures[edit]

Better pictures are needed as anyone who has been to the chateau will well know that the gardens are stunning and are not done justice here. Benjaminstewart05 19:48, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

gardens[edit]

anyone know who the garden designs are attributed to? es: includes a picture of them in their André Le Nôtre article but I can't verify this. DVD+ R/W 17:19, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

history[edit]

The paragraph on history appears inaccurate or at least misleading. Richard Lionheart indeed met Philippe Auguste here, and the treaty of Colombier was signed as a result. However, it was long before (1189) the "original 14th-century keep" was built. At the castle, they tell you that nothing survives of the original fortress. The historical errors are painful in this article. Henri II and Phillippe, not Richard I, met in the 12th century keep, not the 14th century keep. (they were both dead by the early 1200s.
