Requested move[edit]

Pyramus River → Ceyhan River – "Ceyhan" is the modern name for this river, which is what I assume it's been called ever since Turkic peoples arrived in the region quite some time ago. "Pyramus" is the ancient name. Also this article reads in the past tense, which could confuse readers to think that it doesn't exist anymore. To make it in the present tense I think this article has to be moved. —Khoi khoi 01:14, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Support for the title, although care is required for the content of related articles when they are writen from a historical viewpoint. It would be anachronistic to state that Alexander the Great crossed Ceyhan River. User:Cretanforever
